The client gets one email a week

Platapode ·

On Friday, the client gets an email. Everything's on track. Assets approved, campaign live Tuesday, report attached. It's short and calm.

In the account person's inbox that week: a chase to the designer, a second chase to the designer, a reply to legal about a word they didn't like, a message to the media team because the launch date was wrong in the system, a note to a supplier who'd sent the wrong file sizes, and an apology to someone else's client for a mix-up that wasn't theirs but needed sorting anyway.

About forty emails, give or take. None of them reached the client. That was the point of sending them.
